Awesome post! I too have a problem with getting “Things” done. If I don’t write them down then I get lost in emotion on whatever is immediately in front of me. I get so immersed in what I’m doing I loose track of the schedule unless I have a visual reference to guide me along. I’ve experimented with a dozen different apps on the mobile phone, the computer, and inside gmail. But for me an old fashion pen and paper works the best. Plus, I can stick it to the fridge which helps. Maybe when I get a Mac I can try out “Things.”

Thanks again, and I look forward to seeing the animation (even if it takes a couple years.)

Great post, I’ve suffered the same ‘block’ on personal projects by not chunking them into smaller steps. To get to heaven you need to build a stairway.

Fusion Desk is a good Windows equivalent of this software, very usable.

Hey Balind,
I bought Things yesterday and started to put in everything I have. I started by making a project for my graduation internship. By putting in the steps and making a ‘roadmap’ for my graduation it’ll be easier to work on pieces and finish it quicker and on time! Thanks for this.!!
